How Long Does It Take for Window Tint to Cure?
Most automotive films take 1–3 days to fully cure, depending on thickness, weather, and adhesive type. During this time, you may notice bubbles or haze, which is completely normal and will clear as the moisture evaporates. In warm weather this process can take a week, while colder months may take 3–4 weeks.
Why Do I See Bubbles or Haze After Installation?
It’s normal to see small bubbles, streaks, or a cloudy look immediately after installation. This is simply trapped moisture between the film and the glass. As the tint cures, the moisture evaporates, leaving a clear, flawless finish.
Can You Remove Old Tint Before Installing New Film?
Yes, Smith Bros offers tint removal services. Our technicians carefully remove old film, stickers, and decals to ensure maximum adhesion for new tint.

I have not used this business probably a dozen times for various Vehicles including the fleet trucks for my shop, and I can say that without exception they are the best in this business. They have a slew of options for online ordering, and I have yet to have one of their technicians show up late or being a bad mood. I have dealt with at least three or four of their technicians and I've yet to meet one that wasn't truly engaged in what they were doing as well as giving helpful advice. It's rare to find somebody that really enjoys what they do and do their absolute best. Keep up the good work and I will keep using you folks.

9/05/2024 - Put a scratch in the clearcoat of out new car and then added some swirl marks when I tried to fix it...
Reached out to some detailers and Smith Bros was quick to respond, had the services I wanted and great availability. Easily set up the appointment and got updates including from the crew when they were inbound. They arrived early, and got to work. Full wash, clay bar, buffed out the scratch and then ceramic coat. Looked amazing and only took maybe an hour. Absolutely worth the price and a great value. Car still looks great 2 weeks later.

7/25/2024 - I've used a few mobile detailing service companies, and service from them is usually "pretty good". This one was superior to the others, by quite a bit.
